The survey will include questions about the qualities and characteristics that residents are looking for in the next Town Manager. The Select Board will use the input gathered to construct a community profile that will be used to identify the candidate that best matches the priorities of the community.

The survey is live and will remain open through Friday, Sept. 9. To take the survey please click here.

“This survey is an important component of what will be a comprehensive and extensive search process for the next Town Manager,” Assistant Town Manager John Bugbee stated. “We encourage all residents to take advantage of this unique opportunity to help build the Town’s community profile for Wayland’s next Town Manager. Participation will ensure that the chosen candidate represents the values and vision of the community.”

The Wayland Select Board has partnered with GovHR, an executive recruitment firm specializing in the public sector, to assist in the search for the next Town Manager.
