WAYLAND – Town Clerk Trudy Reid wishes to announce the official results of the 2023 Town Election, and welcomes new and returning elected officials.

WAYLAND — The Town of Wayland announces the approval of a town-wide equity assessment, as recommended by the HRDEI (Human Rights, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) Committee.  

C. Peter R. Gossels cherished democracy. A resident of Wayland for 58 years, he first served on the Finance Committee and then as Town Counsel, followed by 30 years as Wayland’s elected Town Meeting Moderator. Peter’s non-partisan generosity of spirit, fairness, and passion for good government marked his 50 years of volunteer service to the Town of Wayland.

WAYLAND — The Wayland Select Board is pleased to announce that Michael McCall has been selected to serve as the first Town Manager of Wayland following a comprehensive search.

The program will include a Keynote Address, given by Natick resident and Army veteran, Sharon Deehan. Ms. Deehan joined the Army in 1967 and volunteered to serve in Vietnam after graduating from nursing school, working in Saigon’s 3rd Field Hospital. The Los Angeles Times reported on the circumstances of her remarkable reunion with a former patient.
