Wayland Council on Aging to Kick Off 11th Annual Outdoor Community Concert Series

WAYLAND — The Wayland Council on Aging is delighted to invite the community to its 11th annual outdoor Community Concert Series.

Favorite local bands as well as some new performers fill out this summer’s schedule of Thursday evening concerts.

Performing in the courtyard of the Wayland Town Building, 41 Cochituate Road, from 7-8 p.m. will be:

  • June 23: The Daddios: Rock & Roll
  • June 30: Southbound Train
  • July 7: The Deloreans
  • July 14: Black Velvet Band: Irish/American
  • July 21: Sudbury Valley New Horizons Band

Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair, a picnic and a friend. 

“These concerts are a highlight of our year because they bring all the generations together,” said COA Director Julie Secord. “We are so grateful to the sponsors that make this possible.”

Local sponsors include The Village Bank, Middlesex Savings Bank, Avenu at Natick & National Development, and Salmon Health & Retirement: Whitney Place of Natick. Support is also provided by the Wayland Cultural Council, which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council.
