The Real Score: Unraveling Myths about Trans People in Sports
Transgender journalist Erin Reed explores the complex and often misunderstood world of transgender athletes. She’ll address the myths and misinformation surrounding “biological advantages,” and interrogate how similar arguments have been historically used to marginalize other minority groups. Online only. Great Presenters: Dr. John Dowd—What is Your Gut Telling You?
In this discussion during National Colon Cancer Awareness month, Dr. Dowd discusses several of the common gastrointestinal maladies, including colon cancer, the second-most common cause of cancer death in the United States. He’ll also look at some of the reasons people are seen by gastrointestinal specialists and the meaning of various GI symptoms. Art Club for Kids
Art Club is for kids in Grades 2-5 who love to draw and paint! This club, led by Wayland parent Emily Kristofek, will meet the first Monday of each month.
